Does anyone know how much emphasis is based on psychiatry during med school? What makes someone decide to be a psychiatrist? Does it really make sense to have to go through med school to be a psychiatrist?
Let me clarify something, I realize psychiatrists have to go to medical school. I was just wondering how prepared psychiatrists really are for counseling. And I really wasn’t asking for religious help.
